Product Description
This adorable family of Quack Along Ducks from Tomy will bring smiles as they waddle along. Two baby ducks follow their mommy as they roll together on the large red wheels. As the string is pulled, the duck happily sings a cheerful quacking song. Your child will love leading this happy little family around and around. For babies ages 10 months and up.

5 out of 5 stars Adorable, until the batteries run out!   November 11, 2000

Buyers, beware! This toy is hysterical ... funny sounds, great waddles, and lots of fun. However, its batteries CANNOT be replaced, which means the toy is worthless in terms of sound once the batteries run out. This was a big disappointment for me, as TOMY typically makes really great toys. Also, watch how you store it in the toy box, as the red connectors are easily twisted, which prevents the ducks from following in a straight line.

5 out of 5 stars If improvements were made, it would be a perfect toy!   April 12, 2003

My sister bought this toy for our 14 month old son. He loves it, however some things about it drove us nuts! The first thing was the volume of the quacking. We opened up the duck and duct taped both the speaker and the hole that the sound came out of. First problems solved. Second, the ducks fall over very easily, making our son very upset. (yet another type of noise issue) We added oversized primary beads along the string which kept a heavier low center of gravity to the ducks as they are being pulled and kept the string from getting around the wheel axles. This eliminated much of the falling over, but not all of it. If Tomy would change the wheel width so the ducks wouldn't be so unstable, and add a volume control to it so they weren't so loud, this would be nearly a perfect toy!

My 15 month old daughter just loves this toy! She pulls it around the house with her and makes "waddling" motions and quacking sounds along with it. She loves to point out the mama duck, and then the babies. It was a great find! I'm going to get one for her best friend, so they each have one to play with. :o)

5 out of 5 stars Teach your kid to quack   October 17, 2003

As soon as I saw this toy, I asked my mother to get it for my then 1 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it. None of us care that the ducks often fall over, and get dragged along instead of rolling along. The quacking is cute, and while it's loud, my daughter doesn't play with it constantly, so it's fine with us. As a matter of fact, it taught her that ducks say "quack." And now every time she sees anything ducky, she quacks. It started a whole animal sounds movement in our house. Pity there isn't a moo along cow, or a baa along sheep.

5 out of 5 stars So popular   January 21, 2005

Who can understand the minds of children? I have 2 daugthers 4.5 and 2 years old. This toy has been a special favourite of theirs for quite some time. We only have one of it, so it has been an endless reason for crying and screaming because of its popularity. Both my wife and I are amazed that such a simple toy presents our girls with such seemingly endless joy and play. Yeah, the sounds get to you after a while, but they are certainly not the most annoying I have ever heard in a toy.
